HI. TO EVERYONE WHO IS CONCERNED ABOUT PEOPLE BEING IN THE EVENT. THERE ARE SEVERAL PEOPLE IN (ABOUT 7 DEFINENTLY ACCEPTED, AND THOSE PRETTY APPS I HAVE YET TO READ THROUGH :<. I WISH NOT TO SHOW WHO THEY ARE OUT OF CONCERN THAT IT MIGHT TURN OFF SOME OF YOU AND THAT IS NOT WHAT I WISH TO HAPPEN.

ALSO, REGISTRAITION IS BEING EXTENDED TILL THE 9TH BECAUSE OF TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ON MY END. I LOST POWER TO MY BEDROOM IN MY APPARTMENT AND HAD TO GO BUY A EXTENSON CABLE TO GET POWER TO MY COMPUTER FROM THE LIVING ROOM. THIS TOOK SEVERAL DAYS BECAUSE I AM KINDA DIRT POOR.

Welcome to my secret Santa event. I am , and I'm the hostess of this event. I saw the many secret Santa events going around and thought I would indeed run my own (considering most are invite only and I'm just not cool enough to be invited XD; ).

What does the "White" in White Secret Santa mean?
To begin I'm not talking about a whites only secret Santa group (those of you who actually thought that are extremely silly).

This "White" Secret Santa is actually a themed Secret Santa. I thought it would be more interesting and a tad bit more challenging to create a secret Santa event that has a theme incorporated into it (especially for those of you who end up doing secret Santa's about very violent and blood lusting characters XD; ). That being said the "White" part actually stands for "White Christmas". So this secret Santa is a White Christmas themed secret Santa.

After all, most Christmas songs dream of a white Christmas. Eheh eheh hmnnn...

Is this Secret Santa Open Registration or Invite Only?
This secret Santa event is an Open Registration event, with a few restrictions.

What are these restrictions?
To keep this event maintainable and fair to those involved I will be splitting the talent base into 3 groups: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. This talent split is to make sure that those who have the same talent level will be paired up with one another.

I am not trying to be mean, and I am not trying to shun those whose talent levels are not the greatest, but the fact of the matter is that someone who has immense talent and shells out a piece of artwork that has 20+ hours in it does not want to be paired up with someone who took only one hour to complete their piece and it looks like a set of stick figures. It is not fair to EITHER side.

From there I will choose ONLY 20 people for each indicated group. That means 60 people in all. I consider 60 a reasonable number (and since I don't imagine this particular event getting really popular) something I can definitely handle to regulate.

How do I Register?

Skill Level: (please be realistic about this, if you were to place Advanced and I only felt you were Intermediate I will note you so and ask if you still want to be apart. I am trying to make this as fair to all artists applying as humanly possible so please don't jerk me around)

Secret Santa Requests: (place here a link to any journal entries or character pieces you'd like done as a secret Santa gift, ultimately it is up to the artist what they draw for you)

When will you be letting us know if we are accepted or not?
Registration ends December 4th. On the 5th I will update the front page with who is accepted, if you do not see yourself on the list no hard feelings. After updating the list I will pick who is partnered with who and send out the notes telling them their who they will be doing a secret Santa for.

When will secret Santa's be due?
Finished products are all due by December 24th. I would like them noted to me so I may send them out to their respective recipients (even if they were nosey and already found out X3).
